The Research Authority at The Max Stern Yezreel Valley College promotes and encourages research. We support and accompanies college researchers, since proposal submission to managing budget grant received. We locate potential sources of funding in Israel and around the world, collect and organize the information about them, and distribute the information among the researchers. We encourage the college researchers through incentives and the provision of research services, management and control of agreements and research grants, and support for ongoing research activities. The Research Authority is the liaison between the researchers and the funding bodies, collaborative institutions, and other units on campus.
Every year, we hold College Research and Teaching Fair event, which presents a variety of studies conducted by the researchers at Yezreel Valley College.
We, at the Research Authority, enrich the research staff with a variety of lectures, workshops, and enrichments in various fields on an ongoing basis. We publish updated Research Calls and recent events for the convenience of the researchers.
We provide researchers at the college with diverse research and assistance incentives. Among them, assistance for language editing services, English editing, statistical consulting, translation, payment to external companies that conduct surveys. We provide additional assistance for related expenses in submitting research proposals to external funds. Together with the College Research Committee, we provide research grants to college researchers to conduct pilot research, with the aim of serving as a basis for submitting research proposals to external funds. In addition, the College Ethics Committee assist the researchers, examines the proposals submitted by them, and provides ethics certificates as needed.
